Mr. A.A.M. Hilme officially started his duties as the new chairman of the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau (09). Mr. Hilme is well known for his contribution for providing excellent service in his previous term as the bureau’s chairman as well.
An Honors Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Computing Technology from Staffordshire University, England, Mr. Hilme is a past pupil of the prestigious St. Thomas College Mount Lavinia and has worked as an outstanding professional for 10 years in Sri Lanka’s IT management and finance sector and previously held the position of Director of the Sri Lanka Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) and is also a director of SMA Aziz Brothers Private Company.
Mr. Manusha Nanayakkara, Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment, former Chairman of Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau Mahendra Kumarasinghe, members of the Board of Directors, and General Manager of the Bureau D.D.P. Senanayake were also present at the event.
