UNP Leader and former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said the present government requires a national policy that cannot be changed from time to time.
He said that the his Party is committed to have such national policy for the development of the country.
Addressing the Women’s Wing of the Party at the UNP headquarters on Friday, Wickremesinghe said a comprehensive plan is in place to reorganize the party.
“Our aim is to complete the reorganizing the party soon,” he said.
When the last elections are taken into consideration, the people have always elected novel candidates.At the 2015 Presidential Election,voters drifted with the tide and elected a new candidate as their President.
Wickremesinghe said that politicians should always try to give what the people want.He said that the the Party should go for the victory by bringing all forces together.
