The Railway Department has taken steps to increase the number of trips of the Ella Odyssey train.
The Railway Department said that this step was taken on the strong request of local and foreign tourists.
Accordingly, from next 8th, in addition to the current train, a train journey will be operated from Colombo to Badulla on every Thursday and from Badulla to Colombo on every Friday. At present Ella Odyssey train runs only on Saturdays and Sundays.
