The Colombo Central Division Criminal Investigation Bureau has initiated investigations to arrest a group of suspects who broke into the medical centre and stole more than Rs. one million worth of medical equipment and medicines after protesters stormed the President’s House in Colombo Fort.
The complaint was lodged by a Navy officer who was in charge of that medical centre. Police said that investigations are under way to identify the suspects by going through the CCTV footage.
