Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) yesterday began it’s “Wipakshayen Husmak” social service programme to support the health sector’s endeavour to save the people’s lives from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Accordingly the “Janasuwaya Foundation” donated medical equipment worth Rs 2.8 million to R. Premadasa Hospital, Maligawaththa today.
Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said the SJB would donate essential health supplies and protective equipment to the hospitals from the funds collected by the Party. He said SJB Members of Parliament, Electoral Organisers and Party supporters will contribute to the donation.
