Soft liquor licences for all entities registered with SLTDA

The Government has approved to provide soft liquor license to Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) approved establishments with effect from 28th July.

The proposal initiated by Minster of Tourism Harin Fernando was granted cabinet approval last month, in order to promote tourism related activities with more flexibility.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Minister of Finance has now granted approval to grant soft liquor licenses to entities providing services and lodging to tourists at an yearly fee of Rs. 25,000.
