Last year’s runners-up Richmond College Galle advanced to the semi-final of the Under 19 Inter Schools Division One Tier ‘A’ Limited Overs Cricket tournament yesterday. They remained unbeaten by defeating St. Joseph’s College Colombo, the defending champions, by 85 runs in the quarter final played at the S. Thomas’ College grounds in Mount Lavinia.
Sri Lanka youth captain Malsha Tharupathi produced an all-round performance for Richmond Galle scoring 56 runs and taking five wickets for 25 runs.
