Yohani De Silva, who became popular in India by re-creating the song ‘Manike Mage Hite’, recently received an award in India for her outstanding contribution to cultural development.
This award was presented by the Indian International Film Tourism Association for her outstanding contribution to tourism promotion through her songs. Yohani who captivated the Indian music lovers with the song ‘Manike Mage Hite’ has sung the song in five different languages including Hindi.
