The Pakistani High Commission in Sri Lanka celebrated the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan yesterday (14). Pakistani High Commissioner Major General (R) Umar Farooq Burki hoisted the national flag in a colourful ceremony at the High Commission. The event was attended by members of the Pakistani community, officials and families of the High Commission, local dignitaries, journalists and friends of Pakistan.
