President Ranil Wickramasinghe said that the army members who protected the democracy by protecting the parliament from the violent people will be praised by the nation.
The President also said that security forces have protected democracy today just as they eliminated terrorism then.
The President said this while attending an observation tour of the Pelawatta Akuregoda Army Headquarters.
