A protest rally was held in Nugegoda yesterday (06) by the the Galle Face protester, urging the government to immediately stop the repression against the activists.
The main gathering was held at the Ananda Samarakoon Open Air Theater in Nugegoda this evening.
The protest rally was organized today by a combination of political parties, trade unions and civil organizations, purportedly against repression, the emergency law, prevention of terrorist act (PTA) and enforced disappearances.
