The main opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya has nominated two of its parliamentarians to preside over the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) and the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA).
Accordingly, the names of MPs Eran Wickramaratne and Kabir Hashim have been proposed to the Speaker of Parliament for the chairmanship of COPE and COPA, respectively.
