A stock of Rabies vaccines worth Rs. 81 million, required for the health system was donated by the German Government to the Ministry of Health (12). Nicolas Lamade, Director of the GIZ Sri Lanka Programme under the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of the German Government, making a symbolic presentation of the vaccines to Health Minister Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella at the Health Ministry.
